It was at the age of 4, when Valerie Reding started dancing classical ballet, that she experienced for the first time the transformational magic of make-up. After having studied architecture at the ETH Zurich and after receiving a BA in Media Arts at the Zurich University of the Arts, she decided to make her passion for art, fashion and make-up her profession. She learned make-up artistry and hair styling from Einat Dan and David Lee Grenda amongst others. 

 

Since 2010, Valerie Reding works internationally as a freelance make-up artist and hair stylist for fashion and commercial shootings, fashion shows, TV, film productions, special events as well as for private clients. She also enjoys giving workshops and teaching her craft to make-up students. 

 

Being a perfectionist, she has an eye for details. Her clients appreciate her calm and positive energy, her reliability, her ability to work in a team, her resilience to stress as well as her creativity.

 

Valerie Reding is based in Zurich and speaks German, English, French and Luxembourgish.
